She is most likely a Christian. It is in their faith that the earth is less than 10,000 years old. Although we’ve all be taught in science class that that is inaccurate by carbon dating and celestial observation, all modern science has to offer is theories as well, so insulting people for their “faith” when we blindly believe in what we perceive as scientific truth is very closed minded.
