BUFFALO, NY – Buffalo Police have released surveillance video of a hit and run accident that left a teenager injured last week.
A city surveillance camera was rolling as a driver slammed into a crowd of people and continued driving.
The accident happened at the intersection of Letchworth and Grant streets last Thursday around 3am.
The 19-year-old driver, Tornubari Gbaraba, involved in the Buffalo hit and run was arrested within five minutes.
The victim, Victor Jerez, was taken to ECMC with multiple injuries, but has since been released from the hospital.
Gbaraba is charged with assault, reckless driving and fleeing from a police officer.
